Three guesses who those were from. The fans of twice-canceled apocalyptic drama Jericho aren’t about to give up without another fight and are letting everyone know it.
Hollywood Reporter senior writer James Hibberd (you’ll remember him from the Moonlight fiasco) said the THR mailroom got 1,050 pounds of nuts Monday. They’re now good on nuts through the Fourth of July, much of the summer, heck probably until Christmas. All kidding aside, THR is looking for local outlets to donate the forty-two 25-lb. boxes of nuts to.
I can’t begin to predict how things with Jericho will turn out but I think [...]
Post from: SF Universe

The Hollywood Reporter has handicapped the genre shows flirting with cancellation. It believes Sarah Connor Chronicles will return on the strength of a strong-performing season finale and because of the promotional opportunities it provides a fourth Terminator film.

As SFUniverse has discussed, the backdoor Knight Rider pilot did well enough in the ratings to earn a series slot at NBC. The Peacock Network is reportedly in talks with a showrunner, so KITT’s return appears to be a go.

The Reporter said CBS is in “wait and see” mode with Moonlight. Like with most non-reality shows, the strike has played havoc with Moonlight’s schedule. Scuttlebutt is that CBS will see if fans return to make a decision on whether the show returns. (Seriously, CBS. Wouldn’t it have just been easier to pick up Angel when WB axed it?)

As far as shows we can probably kiss goodbye, it looks like no amount of peanuts sent through the mail will save Jericho this time. While the show’s DVR and online ratings have been strong, that ain’t what pays the bills. Things look bad for Reaper as well, according to the Reporter.
