Barrowman Confirms Torchwood is Coming Back

John Barrowman was a guest on a BBC radio show this morning to promote his new DVD An Evening with John Barrowman. Jumping straight to the big news he said, “Most definitely, Torchwood will come back to the BBC.”
He says that the whens and hows are still being talked about but they’re looking at another 13 episode run, not 5 which is extra great news.
As for appearing with the new Doctor Who, John says it hasn’t been discussed but followed with, “I’m prepared that it won’t happen.”

It’s once more into the breach, as John Barrowman slips into his great coat and takes off after another alien threat in Torchwood: Children of Earth. Doctor Who and Captain Jack Harkness are headed for the good old U.S of A and just in time for Comic Con. Imagine that.
BBC America has announced their lineup for this year’s scifi / comic lollapalooza and it’s a biggie.
David Tennant, will appear alongside writer/executive producer Russell T Davies, executive producer Julie Gardner and director Euros Lyn for a Doctor Who panel on Sunday July 26, 10:00-11:00am PT. You guys can grumble all you like, but my love for Knight Rider just grows and grows. Last night it was a Halloween themed episode called “Knight of the Living Dead.” Billy steps into frame wearing his costume, a long, navy, military coat, baggy trousers, old fashioned suspenders. . . could it be?
