This thanks to the always stellar work of Jorge Garcia as Lost’s Hurley. This character is a true tragic clown and that’s not an easy dynamic to pull off. This episode had some great moments. Its cliffhanger wasn’t quite as strong as last week’s, but there’s no realistic way it could have been short of offing a character. But supposedly that’s coming up too…

The less Lost fans know what is happening on the show, the more we love it. Trying to figure out the answers to the numerous questions left out there is part of this show’s addiction. The first new episode of 2008 didn’t disappoint in that regard. As spoilers throughout the internet had revealed, six passengers on the ill-fated Oceanic Flight 815 will get off our favorite island.
