Their investigation takes them deep into the heart of New York&#8217;s underground vampire fetish community, where they learn that the motive for the victim&#8217;s murder may be hiding within the pages of the graphic novel he was writing before his death, on &#8220;Castle,&#8221; MONDAY, OCTOBER 26 (10:02-11:00 p.m., ET/PT) on ABC.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[According to Michael Ausiello at EW, The CW has given Vampire Diaries a full season pick-up. That&#8217;s a real vote of confidence for the fledgling series that took Smallville&#8217;s place on the Thursday schedule. Though Smallville had a better week last week, it&#8217;s still tanking in the ratings and it&#8217;s hard to tell if that&#8217;s the show or the Friday move.
In other pick-up news, ABC gave Nathan Fillion&#8217;s new series Castle a full season. If you&#8217;re a fan of his from Firefly, you&#8217;ve got to catch him on Castle, particularly on the upcoming Halloween episode.

According to Variety one of our favorite actors, Firefly/Serenity&#8217;s Nathan Fillion will be lighting up ABC&#8217;s airwaves soon. The Castle, which stars Fillion as a novelist who helps the police solve crimes, is one of five shows ABC placed orders for Monday.
Here&#8217;s hoping this one connects with audiences. Fillion has had two Fox shows that got the axe, Firefly and Drive, the story of a mysterious cross-country race. Since being on ABC&#8217;s radar, he had a couple of appearance on Lost as a former boyfriend of Kate. He was a lawman unfortunately unaware of his lady&#8217;s criminal past.
