Despite severe rationing and around the clock security, the water reserves on board the Destiny continue to drop. Dr. Nicholas Rush (ROBERT CARLYLE) has no explanation for this latest setback but, if they are to survive, they must find a new water source soon. The only planet within range is a frozen wasteland surrounded by a thin and poisonous atmosphere.

The Destiny is still without power and an attempt to alter their collision course with a star has failed. The situation is now critical. A plan is born to abandon ship using the last working shuttle, with the hope that one of three planets in close proximity will be habitable. Earlier this month, Sanctuary stars Amanda Tapping and Robin Dunne sat down with reporters for an extensive interview.  There was an easy banter between the both of them;  humorous and self-deprecating. Sanctuary returns for a second season and it begins with an episode that changes everything for Magnus and Will. The two part season opener begins tonight and ends next week. It’s going to be a deeper, darker, more exciting season.

Syfy has announced their fall premiere dates including the start of the much-anticipated series Stargate Universe. The latest Stargate spin-off will launch on October 2 at 9:00 with a 2-hour event, then will continue to air Fridays at 9:00 beginning October 9.

With the switch rapidly approaching, the channel formerly known as Syfy has released a charming new promo video that is meant to capture the feel of the new brand.
I’ve always enjoyed SCI FI’s imaginative ads, seeing people and things transform right before your very eyes. This new promo takes it even one step further as some of the network’s stars come out to party in a truly magical castle.

Making the brand change from SCI FI to Syfy, the (insert name here) channel promises a big show at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. In addition to the usual panels, they’ll be taking over the restaurant at the Hard Rock Hotel, and re-branding it as Eureka’s “Cafe Diem” for the duration of the convention.
