Smallville Episode 8.10 “Bride”

This one is more than a little late, folks. I was down sick last weekend and am still digging my way out. And before the haters suggest it, I am not sick of Lois. Sadly, this is the last bit of Smallville action we’ll see until January 15.

Lois decides to move in with Clark at the Kent Farm. People, stay as far away from Clark Kent as you can. Really. Case in point: Somebody sends him a mysterious blue crystal that transports him and Lois to the Phantom Zone.  This is the same crystal Tess has been busy searching for. Jimmy is trying to convince Lois that the “mystery hero” exists and she’s not buying it. The only costumed crimefighter she knows of is Green Arrow and he’s hung up his tights for the time being. Just then Lois gets mugged and while she dominates the mugger with her kung fu skills, she gets thrown into the path of an oncoming car. Clark does his superspeed rescue thing. At what’s left of the Fortress of Solitude, new LuthorCorp CEO Tess Mercer oversees the search for Lex Luthor and whatever he was looking for. The Justice League crashes the party and busts some heads, finding Clark’s clothes but not him.
At Lex’s house, Lois Lane is in a French maid outfit. Does anybody wear those anymore, even French maids? Not that I’m complaining. Tess promptly has Lois removed from the premises.
