Here in California we go all out for the celebration of Cinco de Mayo. For me, Cinco de Mayo means mariachi bands, cold margaritas, and Star Wars in Spanish. So I’m saying thank you, boy, to Lucas Film and Cartoon Network for making my holiday complete.
Starting on May 1, you can watch Star Wars: The Clone Wars in Spanish over at StarWars.com. This marks the first time these shows will be broadcast in a foreign language online and we say, hooray and ole!

Also to commemorate the holiday – which celebrates the Mexican army’s 1862 defeat of invading French forces – [...]
Post from: SF Universe

Here in California we go all out for the celebration of Cinco de Mayo. For me, Cinco de Mayo means mariachi bands, cold margaritas, and Star Wars in Spanish. So I’m saying thank you, boy, to Lucas Film and Cartoon Network for making my holiday complete.

Starting on May 1, you can watch Star Wars: The Clone Wars in Spanish over at StarWars.com. This marks the first time these shows will be broadcast in a foreign language online and we say, hooray and ole!

Also to commemorate the holiday – which celebrates the Mexican army’s 1862 defeat of invading French forces – StarWars.com will feature an assortment of related content highlighting the Mexican Star Wars fan experience, as well as kid-friendly cultural activities, crafts, Spanish-language multimedia and more.

In addition to the holiday-themed activities of StarWars.com, Star Wars: The Clone Wars will also be available for viewers to re-experience on TV, as well. Beginning May 1, Cartoon Network will premiere Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Decoded, a full slate of 22 enhanced episodes from the series’ first season. Using text windows to provide in-the-moment insights into all aspects of the sweeping galactic conflict—from trivia to background on characters and storylines—Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Decoded will unlock the secrets of the series and provide a unique look at a “galaxy far, far away.”

So mark your calendar and get ready for a fiesta the likes of which the universe has never seen when Star Wars: The Clone Wars go South of the Border.

Reruns of your favorite show aren’t all that fun and exciting, right? Well, Cartoon Network is out to change that. They found a way to turn Star Wars: The Clone Wars reruns into a fresh, new series. It’s called Clone Wars: Decoded and it’s Pop-Up Video LucasFilm style.
Starting on May 1, Cartoon Network will air what they’re calling “enhanced” episodes of Clone Wars. What it is is a text box overlay that will give you a running commentary of trivia, behind the scenes notes and production facts as you watch the episode.
