Sci Fi’s Top 5 Pop Culture Quotes

Though they were born in the sci fi niche, these five quotes have soared into the annals of pop culture history. They’ve been repeated, parodied and I’ll bet at least one of them was used to sell something on TV.
Here are my candidates for the top five scifi quotes to make it into the pop culture vernacular.
5. “The Truth is Out There”
Ever since Mulder and Scully gave us a glimpse into The X-Files, we’ve been determined to find the real truth about aliens, Bigfoot, Elvis and Lady Gaga. That single phrase has inspired millions to look beyond what is presented …read more

Seth Green and his pals are at it again going for a second shot at remaking Star Wars their way! It’s Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode II on DVD and it hits store shelves on Tuesday, July 21.

A Galaxy Far Far Away: 10 Years Later

Can you believe it’s been ten years since the release of Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Meance? It seems like only yesterday that I was sitting in the audience watching. . . . hmmm. . . maybe I shouldn’t say. You know a lady never reveals her age.
It’s also been ten years since the release of the original Star Wars fandom documentary, A Galaxy Far Far Away. Back in 1999, filmmaker Tariqu Jalil decided to take his camera along on an exploration of the Star Wars phenomena. He hung out with fans who camped for more than a month …read more
