Longtime fans of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate: Atlantis are familiar with the International Oversight Authority (IOA), a group of bureaucratic busybodies who love poking their noses into our heroes’ comings and goings through the Stargate.
On Stargate Universe, IOA representative Camille Wray finds herself a long way from home on board the Ancient ship …read more

Stargate, Sanctuary Get Syfy Renewals
December 14, 2009 by Cynthia
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Syfy has picked up additional seasons of both Stargate Universe and Sanctuary.
Neither show was a guarantee pick-up. Sanctuary is a quiet hit on Syfy and Stargate Universe has been the butt of some harsh criticism. Series producer Robert Cooper had a few things to say about that:
“We’re dealing with 15 seasons of expectations with a certain fanbase,” executive producer Robert Cooper said. “Hopefully, as the show goes on, people will appreciate ‘Universe’ for being its own thing.”
The article goes on to say that there will be a shift toward more serialized storytelling.

The first quarter of the new TV season is coming to a close. With their biggest episodes running this month for sweeps, we can now look forward to weeks of reruns for the rest of 09.
