The one nice thing about genre actors is they fit so nicely into multiple projects. Once a Whedonite – always a Whedonite – and this time it’s Firefly’s Summer Glau who’s heading into the Dollhouse.
Summer always seemed like a natural for this series since she does that “blank slate” look so well but obviously her role on Sarah Connor Chronicles kept that from happening. Now, with that series behind her, she is taking on the roll of Bennett a “Dollhouse employee who shares a past with Echo.”

Another Firefly alum is on TV tonight. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles star Summer Glau will be guesting as herself on tonight’s episode of CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory.
The episode is titled, “The Terminator Decoupling” and it takes places on a train trip to San Francisco. The trip takes a hard right turn though, when Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Sheldon (Jim Parsons), Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) discover that Summer Glau.  If that’s not enough for you, the episode also features a cameo by Nobel Laureate Dr. George Smoot, father of the big bang theory of creation. CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory chronicles the exploits of a group of science whizzes who try to apply the lessons of science and science fiction to everyday life. Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello breaks the news.

There’s a clever new trailer out designed to make sure your dial is tuned to FOX on Fridays. It’s the Dames of Deception: Echo and Cameron back-to-back starting February 13.

Stop us if you have heard this refrain before, but the TV vultures are circling over Terminator:The Sarah Connor Chronicles.  From our own Prison Break Buff comes word that FOX execs are at least partially blaming the Terminator lead-out for a dip in Prison Break ratings.
They’re saying FOX may not even use some existing episodes as they begin retooling the schedule in an effort to save Prison Break, which has long been a lynchpin of their lineup.
