Supernatural: Revelations

rev·e·la·tions – noun

Something revealed, especially dramatic disclosures of things not previously known or realized.
Informal the last book of the New Testament, containing visionary descriptions of heaven, and of the end of the world

Yeah, I’d say that pretty much sums up last night’s episode of Supernatural. “On the Head of a Pin” was revelations-city about Dean’s place in the coming war, Sam’s trip down that long dark path and apparently even angels get the blues.
The episode began with a visually intriguing if not totally necessary scene of Castiel walking through a parking lot of trashed cars. In the center of …read more

Supernatural: It’s a Terrible Life Clips

Supernatural: It’s a Terrible Life Clips

Three clips have been released for next week’s Supernatural episode It’s a Terrible Life. None of them floats my boat much, I know it’s supposed to be an AU episode but it’s not working for me. And given that we already did this when the Djinn sent Dean into a world where they weren’t hunters, I’m not sure why we’re doing this again. Seems to be based on the idea that Sam and Dean would be hunters together no matter how they grew up.
More comments after the clips, remember to hit the MORE tag to see the other two.

This one’s looking a little brutal and I’m told you won’t want to miss the last 20 minutes!

Someone found Lucifer’s sword and is using it to kill angels. Castiel (Misha Collins) and Uriel (guest star Robert Wisdom) have captured Alastair (guest star Christopher Heyerdahl) and ask Dean (Jensen Ackles) to use the torturing skills he learned in Hell to extract information from him so they can stop the murders. Sam (Jared Padalecki) is concerned Dean can’t handle the job but Dean agrees to do it. …read more

Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate the mysterious deaths of several men who apparently dropped dead of fright.  They visit one of the victims in the morgue, and Dean becomes infected with the illness which starts as a general anxiety, then moves on to full-blown terror that eventually stops the heart.  Sam and Bobby (Jim Beaver) must find the root of the disease before Dean dies and is sent back to Hell.
And remember to stay tuned after the episode for that special surprise we were promised!

Tonight on Supernatural: Monster Movie

Not to be redundant, but Supernatural is on tonight!
“We had a great time doing it,” says Singer. “[But the trick was] keeping it modern, while paying respect to James Whale and the way those guys shot those great black & white movies.”
Director Robert Singer talks with me about how it all came together.
