Dragon*Con is winding down today after a full weekend celebrating the best in science fiction, fantasy and gaming. Here’s a look at some of the lovely ladies that were in attendance.
Let’s start with scifi royalty – Star Trek’s William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy.

Next it’s two of my fave’s Murdock and Face from A-Team, Dwight Schultz and Dirk Benedict who also starred in Star Trek: The Next Generation and the original Battlestar Galactica respectively.

First it was Rocketman, now William Shatner is taking on Sarah Palin’s final speech Beatnik style.

William Shatner will forever be remembered as hardnosed cop T. J. Hooker, eccentric attorney Denny Crane and of course, there was a little show called Star Trek you might have heard of. But his longest running role is that of commercial pitchman for travel site Priceline.
Shatner is in year 11 of his successful stint shilling the site’s travel deals and his third as The Negotiator. He’s a heroic figure who uses his martial arts skills and smooth talking sales pitches to sell the site. And it allows Shatner to go as far over the top as …read more

One of the most anticipated movies in all of sci-fi is J.J. Abrams’ reinvention of the Star Trek franchise coming in May 2009. And of course, one of the biggest controversies surrounding that one is that William Shatner will not have a cameo as Captain James T. Kirk. Those that have followed Shatner’s career might anticipate him not being happy. But I know I didn’t anticipate Shatner pleading his case on YouTube. Check this out and tell me if you think Shatner has a legitimate point or if he should just stick to Boston Legal.
